摘要
随着各国经济的发展,到20世纪70年代出现了世界性的环境恶化、人口膨胀、能源危机等问题。为探寻人类社会发展的最佳模式,一种新的发展观———可持续发展战略应运而生,它要求社会发展不仅是经济发展,而是包括环境优化、人口素质提高、资源永续利用等因素在内的综合发展,即必须保持社会、经济、资源、环境、人口、科技六个方面综合协调发展。国情决定了中国现代化只能走可持续发展道路。
With the rapid development of the world economy, such problems as worldwide environmental deterioration, rapid population increase and energy crisis arose in 1970s. In order to explore the best development pattern of the human society, a brandnew development concept—the strategy of sustainable development, has come into being, as times demand. It requires that the social development should include not only economic development, but also comprehensive development,including such elements as quality of population, and the sustainability of natural resources. In other words, the following six factors—society, economy, resources, environment, population, science and technology, should be developed comprehensively and harmoniously. The real Chinese situation has determined that Chinese modernization has to take the sustainable development strategy.
