摘要
在科尔沁草原采集野生虉草种子进行人工栽培驯化,在良好耕作条件下经几代种子繁殖和人工选择,使该草植株高大,产量提高,营养成分含量变高。鲜草亩产量达5700公斤,种子50公斤;拔节期粗蛋白质含量26.96%,适口性好,各类草食家畜均喜食。
This paper summarizes a research program on domestication of wild canarygrass,a poten- tially important forage grass in kerchin steppe,NMAR.seeds of wild canarygrass were collected from the kerchin rangeland and the domestication cxperiments of this species were carried out in local farms.After several generations' reproduction and selection,improvement was achieved on a number of important agronomic characters,such as plant size,forage and seed yields,nutrient contents of the plant,and the forage feeding value,etc.Under suitable management they could produce 85 ton/ha of fresh forage and 0. 75 ton/ha seeds per year in average.Domesticated ca- narygrass have high crude protein content(26.96% at jointing stage)and good palatability to various animals.The results of this research shows that the canarygrass could be an important forage cultivar for establishing grasslands,and providing high quality forage in pastures.In addi- tion,it does well for water and soil conservation in North China.
