摘要
圆叶决明1986年由粤北示范牧场从澳大利亚首次引进到中国。经四年试验研究表明,这个热带多年生豆科牧草具有耐酸、耐瘦瘠、抗高铝、易建植、产草量高的良好特性,是热带、亚热带酸性薄瘠红壤区人工草地建植的一个先锋草种。
Cassia Totundifolia, a tropical perennial legume, was first introduced to China from Australia in 1986. The result shows that Cassia plants are tolerant towards acid infertile soils,endurant to soils that contain high aluminium, rather easy for grassland establishment and with high dry matter yields. It proved a good feed plant for forage production as well as a pioneer legume for range improvement in tropical and subtropical acid infertile soils.
