摘要
幽默 ,作为一种特殊的言语交际方式 ,应当同面子联系起来研究。本文着重探讨人们在交际中是如何运用言语幽默来维护交谈双方面子的。文章从说话人和听话人两个角度对这一问题进行阐述。
This study attempts to analyze the ways in which verbal humor can be employed to save the face of participants involved in the human interaction. The issue is approached from two perspectives, namely speaker and hearer.
