摘要
本文合成了一系列偶氮型液晶配体,通过元素分析、IR、UV和NMR等手段对其结构进行了表征。采用DSC和偏光显微镜方法研究了它们的液晶行为和相变温度变化规律。
This paper is dealing with the synthesis and characterization of a series of low molar-mass azobenzene type compounds. The structure of these compounds were characterized by IR measurement, NMR spectroscopy ,UV spectroscopic analysis and elemental analysis. Their liquid crystal properties were also studied by DSC and polarizing microscopic observation. The perpared compounds were all shown to be thermotropieal liquid crystalline. It could be seen when the carbon numbers of the alkoxy increased the melting points decreased and clearing point in the order of add numbers or even numbers decreased regularly. The odd-even effect in the clearing points of the compounds could be observed. These compounds can be polymerized with azo.based mesogen moieties through a flexible space by hydrositylation reaction.
