摘要
针对车牌照自动化管理中需要对采集到的车牌照图像进行自动校正和去除背景的处理问题,在传统的集合参数提取方法———Hough变换基础上,提出了一种实现对车牌照图像进行定位和倾斜校正的方法。根据车牌照自身特点,对对称Hough变换作出改进和剪裁,使得该方法可对平行四边形形状的车牌照进行检测。测试证明,该方法缩短了计算时间,减小了空间复杂度。
In order to adjust the collected vehicle license image automatically and remove the background for vehicle license, a new method in orientation and lean adjustment for vehicle license plate is presented by using symmetry Hough transform to examine rectangle vehicle license plate. The improvement is made for symmetry Hough transform according to the characteristics of the vehicle license plate, which makes the method examine the parallelogram vehicle license plate. The result proves that the method can shorten the computing time and reduce the space complexity.
