摘要 市场化是学术期刊发展的一种趋势。科研信息传播和广告信息传播是学术期刊的 2种重要功能。为了适应市场经济的发展 ,使学术期刊在市场化道路中走出困境 ,必须对期刊的这 2种服务功能进行分化和重整。专业相同或相近的期刊之间可相互联合 ,成立科研信息和广告信息 2个服务部门 ,前者实行事业化管理 ,后者实行企业化管理。期刊功能分化和重整后 ,管理针对性增强 ,政策容易到位 ;期刊质量得到保证 ,“双效”共赢 ;社会效益和经济效益相互带动 ,为期刊以后以刊养刊创造条件 ;促进了期刊之间相互合作 ,有利于资源合理配置和有效利用。 Marketing is a developing tendency of academic journals. The spreading of scientific information and the spreading of advertising information are the two important functions of the academic journals. For the purposes of adapting to the market economy and letting the academic journals get out of the difficulties, these two functions must be separated and then recombined. The journal publishers in the same or similar specialties may combine and set up two service departments : research information and advertising information. The former can be run as a public institution, and the later run as a company. After the separation and the recombination of the functions, the government administration will be more direct and the policies concerning the different functions will be made and implemented much easier. The other effects of the separation and the recombination include: the journals' quality will be guaranteed, and their social and economic benefits will be increased simultaneously; there will be more cooperation and less competition between journals so that the journal resources can be rationally allocated and effectively used.
