The Chrysanthemums' is a masterpiece of John Steinbecks,an American writerIt describes the life of the common people and the psyche of those living at the bottom of society.This paper tries to interpret the short story in light of Sigmund Freuds sex and psychoanalytical theory.So that readers can fully urderstard its symbolic meaning and theme.
