摘要
《坛经》与《忏悔录》作为东西方宗教文化名作之一 ,其中包蕴着若干的审美思想 :《坛经》中具有可引申以资中国古代美学发展的思想论断 ;《忏悔录》则把艺术审美与宗教信条相结合 ,树立起基督教美学权威。比较两书的美学思想 ,强调心性的作用及与各自文化背景中的人学思想密切联系是其相同之处 ;不同的美学传统思维模式以及佛教、基督教教义中对美本质的不同认识又是导致差异性的原因所在。
As religious and cultural masterpieces, Tanjingand Confessions contain abundant aesthetic thoughts. In Tanjing, there are some aesthetic statements which are important to the development of the ancient Chinese aesthetics; Confessions combines artistic taste with religious doctrines, creating authority for Christian aesthetics. These two books are similar in that that they emphasizethe status of the human beings in their respective cultural background; they are different in that that they have different aesthetic modes of thought. Different opinions about the nature of beauty in the Buddhist and Christian doctrines lead to their differences.
