摘要
现代性概念具有双重意蕴 ,即外在社会结构的现代性与内在文化心理结构的现代性 ,前者表现为形式化的制度结构 ,以理性化为原则 ;后者表现为感性欲望的伸张 ,以感觉化为主导。现代性问题的实质就是道德文化危机与意义危机 :随着传统社会向现代社会的转型 ,人类的社会秩序与心性秩序的超越性的价值源头或根据逐渐消解 ,于是现代人在合理地建构社会制度结构的同时 ,是否能并如何能重建人的心性结构 ?是否能并如何能重建人的精神家园与意义世界 ?
The conception of modernity has dual implications, which are, the modernization of extemal social structure and the modemizatikon of inherent cultural-psychological structure. The former displays as the formalization of institutional structure, and rationalization is its principle. The latter displays as the expansion of sensible desire, and sensationalization is its dominant idea. The essence of modernity is the crisis of morality and culture and the crisis of meaning. With the transform from traditional society to modern society, the valuable fountainhead or basis of the exceedinity that the social order and the mentality order of human being possess has gradually dispelled. So when modern human are rationally constructing the structure of social institutions, could and how they reconstruct the mentality structure of human? Could and how they reconstruct the spiritual homeland and the meaning world of human? This keeps an un-resolved difficult problem.
