摘要
就诗人的本意来看 ,《冰激淋皇帝》一诗不是对现世生活的肯定 ,而是对现实的肯定 ,对想像力和诗歌本身的消解和否定 ,因而构成了一个用诗歌来解构诗歌的悖论。这不仅是自柏拉图以来诗歌和现实之间的争吵在诗人身上的集中体现 ,也反映了诗人自身人格的分裂及其对自己一生使命的困惑和怀疑。
From the perspective of the poet himself, the poem The Emperor of Ice Cream by Wallace Stevens is not an affirmation of the secular life, but an affirmation of reality, a deconstruction of the power of imagination or poetry itself. This reflects not only the constant quarrelling between poetry and reality down from Plato, but also the dual personality of the poet himself, his doubt and moral uncertainty for his lifetime vocation.
