摘要
发射极关断晶闸管(ETO)是满足高性能电能变换技术要求的新型大功率电力电子器件。通过特殊结构实现的单位增益关断技术大大改善了ETO的关断特性,提高了工作频率,增大了安全工作范围,同时使它更易于串并联使用。在不久的将来,ETO有望取代晶闸管和GTO成为大功率电力电子应用领域中的主流器件。文中详细介绍了ETO的结构、工作原理及其主要工作特性,并对它的典型应用进行了分析。
The Emitter Turn-off (ETO) thyristor is one of the novel high power devices.With a special structure the unity-gain turm-off technology is achieved in the ETO,which greatly improves the tum-off characteristic,increases the operation frequency and safe operation area and makes the series or parallel operation easier.In the future,the ETO will replace the thyristor and GTO to be the main devices. In this paper, the structure,operational perinciple and characteristics of the ETO are discussed in detail,a typical application circuit is analyzed as well.
