摘要
OS/2是第一个专门为个人计算机开发的单用户多任务操作系统.它的多任务特性、虚拟存储器管理等是其主要特点。本文从系统角度比较详细地阐述了它的多任务特性。首先介绍了OS/2的任务管理模型,包括其中所引用到的几个新颖的概念,然后讲述了OS/2任务管理所采用的机制以及调度算法的实现方法,最后通过实例对OS/2的任务管理进行性能测试、分析和评价。
OS/2 is the first single-user & multi-task operating system developed for personal computers. Multitask & virtual memory management etc. are it's advantages & characteristics. The purpose of this paper is to describe the multi-task facilities of the system in more detail. First of all, the tasking model is presented which used several new concepts. Then we deal with the task management mechanisms and scheduling algorithms. In the end, we give the results of performance test & the evaluations on task management.
