摘要
课程是知识的载体,科学而合理的课程设置将对人才培养起着极为关键的作用。美国通识教育从产生到现在已有一百多年的历史,在课程设置方面颇具特色,经验丰富,达到比较成熟的阶段。我国在推行通识教育的过程中,不妨借鉴美国的经验,同时结合我国的实际情况,使我国的通识教育课程设置更加科学合理和符合我国的实际情况。作者对中美几所名校课程做了一些对比,提出了一些建议。
Curriculum is the carrier of knowledge. Scientific and rational curriculum setting plays a vital role in talent cultivation. General education of the United States has a history of over one hundred years. In the course of general education implementation we can use the success of the United States for reference and strive to make our curriculum setting effective. A comparison of curriculum setting between China and the United States is made and some suggestions are provided.
