摘要
利用广西和引进的亚热带(热带)玉米品种资源,根据本区的生产、生态特点和要求,建立不同类型的杂交模型和改良综合种程序,先后育成制种产量高、易于推广的桂顶系列顶交种和桂集1号、桂综2号等群体改良种,以群体改良种为选系基础材料,选出的自交性状不易退化、抗性强的M_9、rM_9、白M_9和桂集C等家系,并育成各种性状更为均匀的桂单19号,桂三1、桂三2,辐三1号等杂交种。这种普及与提高相结合的育种体系,与本区的自然、生产条件和生产发展的趋势相适应,对广西玉米生产起到了积极的作用。
Based on the production and ecological characteristics of Guangxi, a series of crossing models by use of heterosis and improving proceeding of synthetic varieties have been set up by utilizing the combining of the local and exotic varieties, subtropical (or tropical) and temperate zonal varieties. Successively, a number of irregular hybrids including the serial topcross varietes, Guiji No.l, Guizong No.2 and some improved populations which were high yield and easy-release had been developed. Some family lines with slow retrogression of selfcrossing character and high resistance and some regular hybrids including Guidan No.19, Guisan No.l, Guisan No.2 and Fusan No.l had been released, such as M9, YM9, white M9 and Gui-ji C. Such a popularization and raising breeding system was quite useful for developing Guangxi maize production and raising the unit area output.
