摘要
众所周知，立法语言作为一种具有规约性的语言分支，有其独特的语言风格特点。而其中最重要的特点就是准确性。但是，在实践中，立法语言无法避免模糊性。本文主要探讨了英语立法语言模糊性的成因及立法者为了制衡法官自由裁量权而采取的消除方法。
It's all known that legislative language is a kind of customary language, which includes words, phrases and modes of expression with its unique style. One of the most important characteristics of legislative language is exactness in its usage.But in practice, vagueness is inevitable in legislative language.This paper discusses the causes of the vagueness in English legislative language and the lawmaker's removing methods to check the discretional right of the judges.
