Progress in Design and Study of Objective Lens Used in HD-DVD Optical Systems

摘要 对于下一代光盘系统而言,GaN激光器和高数值孔径(NA)的物镜是关键组件。本文介绍了几种HD-DVD光学系统物镜的设计方案,并对其进行比较研究,发现要根据不同的要求来设计物镜,对像差要求高的要采用两元件型或者三元件型物镜;而对于要求结构简单、装配容易、工作距离大的光学头,要采用单元型物镜。在解决其与CD和DVD的兼容性问题时,可采用物镜前插入补偿装置来控制物镜的数值孔径。 In the next generation of optical disk system,GaN laser and high numerical aperture(NA)objective lens are two key components.This paper describes some design ways of objective lens for HD-DVD optical system,and through comparison we find that we should design objective lens according to different requirements.For diminishing aberration we should apply two -element objective lens,and for compact design,easy assembly and wide working distance we should apply single -element objective lens.When solving the compatibility with CD and DVD,we set a compensator before the objective lens to control NA of it.
