A Multidimensional Data Model for OLAP

摘要 分析了传统OLAP（联机分析处理）模型在商业应用领域中存在的不足，在此基础 上，针对某一超市的OLAP的设计过程中所碰到的问题，提出了一种多维数据模型，给出了模 型定义和基于关系数据库模型实现方法。 This paper analyzes the deficiency of common multidimensional data m odel used in OLAP(on-line analytical processing). On the basis of this analysis, the paper proposes a new multidimensional model aiming at resolving the problem met in practice, then gives formal definition and implementation of it.
