摘要
利用强光在单模光纤内的自相位调制效应,使脉宽为90ps的光脉冲光谱展宽到0.42nm,经光栅对的负群速色散延迟,该脉冲被压缩到4.5ps,压缩比为20。本文还对光栅对色散延迟线的最佳参数作了计算。
When intense laser pulses pass through optical fiber, SPM caused by n_2 makes it chirp. Let the chirping pulse pass through a proper dispersive line, the rear part of the pulse will catch up the front part, the pulse is compres- sed. The relation between intensity of the pulse and frequency deviation is analyzed and optimum parameter of delay line is calculated in this paper. In- putting 90psec source pulse from ml YAG laser to a 140 meter SiO_2 single mode fiber, the spectral widening caused by SPM with maximum width of 0.42nm is observed. The spectral width is propotional to the peak power of inputting pulse in wide range. After the dispersive delay line formed by grating pair, compressed pulses are measured to be 4.5ps by background-free second order correlator. The product of pulse width and spectral width is 0.5. It is close to the limit of Fourier transform.
