摘要
采用直流电弧等离子法可以制备出包含有a和β相,尺寸约为70 nm的纳米氧化铋粉体,收率可达30%。利用制备的纳米氧化铋粉体替代微米级材料制备氧化锌压敏陶瓷后,研究了其对器件电学性能和陶瓷微观结构的影响。实验发现:纳米氧化铋使用量为1.6%摩尔分数时其压敏电压梯度和通流值分别为185 V/mm和4 700 A/cm2,而达到相同值所需微米氧化铋用量则分别为1.9%和1.85%。可见,如采用纳米氧化铋替代微米氧化铋可以减少用量10%~20%,而达到相同的电性能。
The technique for preparing nano-size Bi2O3 powder by DC arc plasma is described. The size and the percentage of Bi2 O3 powder with both a and β phases obtained is about 70 nm and 30 % respectively. The different effects of nano-size and micro size Bi2O3 powder on the electrical properties and sintering behavior of ZnO varistors is discussed. It is found that when the content of nano-size Bi2O3 as additive is 1. 6% in molar fraction the values of gradient voltage and peak current of the varistor are 185 V/mm and 4 700 A/cm2 respectively. However to reach the same electrical properties, 1. 9% or 1. 85% in molar fraction of micro-size Bi2O3 is needed. The amount of 10%-20% Bi2O3 powder in nano-size is saved, compared with micro size powder.
