A new anti etch copper alloy (HSn70 1AB) appropriate for condenser used in power plant was introduced, HSn70 1AB is a new type of copper alloy. The chemical composition, mechanical behaviour, physics behaviour, appropriate water quality and working effect of this new copper alloy were assessed, and the key data for applicontion were given in this paper.
