摘要
中国传统美学中的儒家、道家和禅宗确实均以不同的方式开辟出了走向审美生存的理路,但诸多在“中国古代审美思想的现代阐释”名义下对中国古代审美主义思想所作的似是而非的言说,事实上是对审美现代性的严重误读。以审美的方式来回答、解决生命意义问题,只是古今中外形形色色的审美主义的重要面相,而不是审美现代性的圭臬。中国古代审美主义面对复杂生命之时,往往表现出一种撤退的姿态,这种无视尖锐繁复的内在生命张力的审美理想,与现代审美精神有着天壤之别。
Confucianism, Taoism and Zen Buddhism have different ways approaching aesthetic existence, but many specious arguments about classical Chinese aestheticism in the name of 'modern interpretation of classical Chinese aesthetic thoughts' are serious misreading of aesthetic modernity. Responding to and solving one's life value is only superficial phenomenon of aestheticism of all forms at all times and in all countries, and not the ultimate aim of aesthetical modernity. When confronting complex life, classical Chinese aestheticism takes a withdrawal posture. This kind of aestheticism ignoring incisive and complex tension of life is very different from modern aesthetic spirit.
