This paper gives an introduction to the features of the construction technique for transition project of overhead contact line on existing electrified railway,including its applicable scope,construction technique,process flow,transition method,processing equipment,quality requirement,safety measures and labour organization,for reference to building the second line and carrying out the innovation for enlarging traffic capacity of existing electrified railway.
