何首乌（七宝美髯丹主药）等中药，可使行虚患者性腺功能恢复，与其含有较高的锌、锰、铁等微量元素有关．一些微量元素在不同药物剂型及经不同工艺处理后含量有极大变化，故在中药制剂中应予以考虑，药物治疗中采取多种形式给予补充．
