Two-dimension scattering analysis using ADI-FDTD method

摘要 利用交替隐式时域有限差分 (ADI FDTD)这一新方法计算二维电磁散射问题。研究了ADI FDTD方法的入射波设置、连接边界条件、PML吸收边界和近远场变换等关键技术。与传统FDTD方法相比 ,ADI FDTD的时间步长不受时间步长和空间步长的稳定性条件 (CFL约束条件 )限制。在该方法中 ,可选取较大的时间步长进而提高计算效率。最后还给出了金属和介质柱散射截面的数值算例 ,证实了ADI This paper presents the solution of the 2-Dimension scattering by means of the modified FDTD scheme-Alternating Direction Implicit FDTD (ADI-FDTD), emphasizing on modification of the incident wave setting, total boundary condition and connective boundary condition. It is shown that the new algorithm is quite stable even if the stability condition(CFL condition) is not satisfied, so it has a higher efficiency than conventional FDTD in terms of computer resources such as CPU time. Some numerical results are given to demonstrate its efficiency of the scheme.
