The car painting technology in Western Europeis typical Three-Coats or Four-Coats system.The main features of the application processhave teen described,such as,phosphatmg pre-treatment and electrophoretic coating process,sealing of weld bead and protection of bottomplate,base coat and top coat and antirust wax,etc.,Some effective measures have been takenfrom european car manufacturers to reduce thepainting pollution,increase the coating automa-tization level,decrease the energy consumptionand ensure the quality of coating film.
