摘要
制备了Er^(3+):Yb^(3+)共掺杂SiO_2基氟氧化物玻璃,测试了样品在488um激光激发下的激发谱和930nm红外光激发下的上转换可见光谱。在红外光激发下,检测到了Er^(3+)离子较强的~4S_(3/2)(~2H_(11/2))→~4I_(15/2)和~4F_(9/2)→~4I_(5/2)可见光发射。简单分析了上转换红光增强的机制。
Er: Yb co-doped oxyfluoride glass with the host composition of SiO2-AlF3-PbF2-CdF2 was prepared. The excitation spectra were measured with a 488 nm Ar ion laser. The infrared up-conversion luminescence was measured with a 930 nm diode light. The infrared up-conversion luminescence spectra show that the red emission is much stronger than that of the green emission. The energy transfer processes of S-4(3/2) (Er3+) + I-4(11/2) (Er3+) --> 2(4)F(9/2) (Er3+) and I-4(13/2) (Er3+) + F-2(5/2) (Yb3+) --> F-4(9/2) (Er3+) + F-2(7/2) (Yb3+) both enhance the population of F-4(9/2) ( Er3+) state and increase the red emission. Due to the relatively high energy phonon of the host, the I-4(13/2) (Er3+) + F-2(5/2) (Yb3+) --> F-4(9/2) (Er3+) + F-2(7/2) (Yb3+) process might predominate for the enhancement of the red emission. The experiment results indicate that the relative intensities of the up-converted emission bands can be adjusted by modifying the host composition.
