摘要
Arbu一词并非如通常所认为的那样,指某一操用突厥语部落的名称,而所谓“n方言”为“西突厥 族”及回鹘人语言的观点亦不能成立。Arbu一词为地域名称,专指怛逻私和巴拉沙衮之间的广大地区。所谓 “n方言”也便是“阿尔乌语”(Arbut ε),是生活在这一地区的突厥化了的粟特人等所操的混化型的突厥语方言。
The word Am is not as people think a name referred to a tribe which uses Turki as its language,and the idea that the so - called 'n Dialect'is the language of West Turki group and the Huihe is also wrong. The word Am is an area name which particularly confines the grand territory between Daluosi and Balagun. The so - called 'n Dialect' in fact is Am language, which is a combined Tukish dialect used as a language by the native Sute people who had been Turkized.
