摘要
异极矿是一种少见的玉石品种,以纯正天蓝色者为佳;密度为3.34～3.46g/cm3,折射率为1.60～1.62,硬度为4～4.5。玉石的主要组成矿物为异极矿,另有少量的菱锌矿等碳酸盐矿物。电子探针成分分析表明,其颜色是由铜离子引起的,铜的含量越高,颜色就越鲜艳。依据其颜色与透明度,将云南异极矿分为4个级别。
Hemimorphite is a rare variety of jade Hemimorphite with sky blue colour is of good quality. It has specific gravity of 334～346 g/cm3, refractive index of 160～162 and hardness of 4～45. The main component is hemimorphite, and some carbonate such as smithsonite in small amount; Chemical composition analysis by microprobe shows that its colour is related to the content of CuO. Based on its colour and transparency, the quality of hemimorphite can be divided into four grades.
