摘要
本文提出了幅度调制的格状编码调制(AM-TCM)设计的一种新方法。本文首先研究了格状图的一些性质,指出了满足在U条件的线性不等阶信号安排的方法,给出了其个数的计算公式,讨论了恶性码条件。然后根据信号之间的约束关系,导出了自由欧氏距离的一种新算法,最后概述了最佳码的设计步骤。将本文方法与Ungerboeck方法进行比较,表明本文方法有不少优点。
In this paper, a new design method of amplitude modulation trellis codes (AM-TCM) is presented. Firstly the properties of the trellis diagram are studied, the procedure of arranging output signals satisfying U-condition and linearity to the signal constellation is described and the number of the unequiva-lent arrangements is formulated. Conditions of catastrophic codes are also discussed.Then a new algorithm of free Euclidean distance is developed In the end a breif account of the design procedure of the best AM-TCM codes are given. Compared with Ungerboeck's design method, our method has many advantages.
