摘要
应用语言学是一个具有跨学科性质的交叉学科.本文简要回顾了应用语言学的发展历程,着重探讨应用语言学的学科界定、研究范围以及未来的发展趋势,认为应用语言学将是一门兼容并包而富有开拓创新可能的研究领域.
Applied linguistics is an independent interdisciplinary science. This paper offers a review of the development of applied linguistics, discusses the object of study, and its research scope and developing tendency. It shows that in the 21st century applied linguistics will be flourishing.
