邓小平"不搞争论"的思想是针对改革开放以来社会上出现的一些特定现象、特定形势以及人们的某些错误认识而提出的。"不搞争论"实际是"实践是检验真理惟一标准"讨论的深入发展,"搞争论"与"不搞争论"是辩证统一的。
In view of some special phenomena and situation in society since openingup and reform, as well as some people's wrong cognition, Deng xiaoping advanced the theory of 'No Argument'. As a matter of fact, it is the further development of the discussion about 'practice is the only criterion for judging truth'.'Argument' and'No Argument' is dialectical unity.
