Preliminary Selection of Plants with High Resistance to SO_2 for Urban Greening

摘要 盆栽于广州市华南植物园内的72种城市绿化植物的叶片经模拟SO2(20mmol/LNaHSO3浸泡)处理后,研究其叶绿素荧光参数的变化,还比较了其中31种植物叶片的细胞液pH值和对碱缓冲能力的大小。通过对这些生理参数的分析,初步筛选出了一批抗污能力较强的树种,如:傅园榕(Ficusmicrocarpavar.fuyuensis)、红桂木(Artocarpusnitidusssp.lingnanensis)、幌伞枫(Heteropanaxfragrans)、石笔木(Tutcheriaspectabilis)等,和抗性较差的树种,如:印度第伦桃(Dilleniaindica)、灰木莲(Manglietiaglauca)、灰莉(Fagraeaceilanica)等。 Seventy-two woody plant species of 1 to 2-year old seedlings were pott ed at non-polluted site in South China Botanical Garden in Guangzhou. One year later, mature leaves of every species from different individuals were used for experiment of simulation of SO2 pollutant by immersing leaf discs in 20 mmol L-1 NaHSO3 solution at 25℃ under 20ìmol m-2 s-1 light intensity for 20 h, and in distilled water as control. The treated leaves were c onducted for chlorophyll fluorometric assay and for buffer capacity for alkali. The resistanc e of plants was evaluated comprehensively by decreasing amplitude of the values of Fv/Fm and Fv/ Fo after the leaves were treated with NaHSO3 compared to the control, and by pH value in cell saps and buffering capacity of leaves. Results indicate that the resistant species are Fi cus microcarpa var. fuyuensis, Artocarpus nitidus ssp. lingnanensis, Heteropanax fragrans, Tutcheri a spectabilis, Ormosia pinnata, Artocarpus hypargyreus, etc., the sensitive species being Dill enia indica, Manglietia glauca, Fagraea ceilanica, Garcinia multiflora, Cassia siamea, etc.
