Why do we talk about.com again at this moment?The .com companies were once considered the carrier ofcreativeness, wealth and new economy. But now, it rep-resents none of the three. The .com companies 'digitalized' billions of dollarsand successfully blew the wealth into a fragile bubble.Meanwhile, people rarely think of the goodness of .comwhen Internet has become part of their daily lives. Busi-ness has also witness ed so many changes brought aboutby .com. But few businessmen talk about the creativeapplication of Internet in their business. Let us think about these questions as follow: Whentremendous wealth vanished, did people find the worth?What are the real business models that can be seen ascarriers of Internet value? The key point is: who willtrigger the next round of 'Internet wave'. The .com companies, whether now being or not,have been active in finding the new game rules for Internetbusiness models. However, the hey days will not comeany more, orcome the waydifferent fromwhat they werein last decade,because the cre-ativeness spiritand commercialpotentials, theembodiment ofInternet, havebecome the fuel ofthe engine formany otherindustries. Thisway, it is mean-ingless to distin-guish Internet companies from traditional enterprises.
