摘要
大学校名是由若干要素组合而成的 ,各要素有其特定的意义和功能 ,依序组成一个完整的线性结构。在对中国现有大学校名进行较全面调查的基础上 ,分析归纳出大学校名有二项式 16种、三项式 2 6种、四项式 15种 ,共计 5 7种结构类型 ,进而分析了大学校名的主要特点 ,论述了大学校名在学校形象塑造中的重要意义和作用。
University names consist of several essential factors with each having its own special meaning and function and forming a whole linear stru cture according to the order.On the basis of a comparatively comprehensive inves tigation,it is concluded that University names in China have got 16 kinds in bin omial,26 kinds in trinomial,15 kinds in quadrinomial,and 57 kinds of types in al l.A further analysis is made about the main characteristics of university names elaborating the importance and significance of university names in their own ima ge_moulding.
