摘要
为满足不同应用需求而制定的新的静止图像压缩标准———JPEG 2 0 0 0已于 2 0 0 0年 12月正式成为国际标准 对JPEG 2 0 0 0进行了系统的分析 ,对其采用的许多新算法及关键技术进行了详细的描述 ,包括基于提升法的第 2代小波变换 ,位平面编码 ,自适应算术编码 ,标识树编码 。
As a new still image compression standard, JPEG 2000, which intends to satisfy a diversity of applications, has become international standard in December 2000 The paper systematically analyses the standard and gives description of some corresponding algorithms, such as DWT based on the lifting scheme, bit plane coding, adaptive AC, Tag tree coding, ROI coding and ordering the codestream based on progressive order We will find that the sophisticated features of the standard allow a single codestream to be used efficiently by a number of applications
