Maanshan Steel has implemented the 'low cost developing strategy with energy saving and consumption reduction 'since 1998. The energy consumption has been reducing gradually with reduction in cost and discharge of carbon dioxide as greenhouse gas and other pollutants. All these are essential for clean production and sustainable development.
