Progress of HIRFL-CSR Electron Cooling Device for Main Ring
摘要
The electron cooling device of main ring for HIRFL-CSR is underway on the cooperation of BINP colleagues and IMP members. So far, the assembly and tuning were done in Novosibirsk and Lanzhou. The profile and density distribution of electron beam were measured. The hollow electron beam was firstly obtained on the test bench and realized the designed requirements as expected. Fig.1 shows the hollow electron beam profile measured in Novosibirsk.
