摘要
新世纪已进入知识经济时代,图书馆面临巨大的挑战。图书馆员要胜任当今知识管理工作和搞好知识传播服务,必须树立全新的职业理念,具备全新的知识基础,扮演好知识的发现收集和增值者、把关人和导航员等社会角色,才能在知识经济时代站稳脚跟得以生存,实现自身的变革发展。
The new century is a knowledge economy era, the library faces enormous challenge. To be competent for the job of knowledge management and be good at the service of the knowledge spreading, the librarian must have all-new knowledge foundation, and play the social role well who can find, collect knowlege,raise the value of the knowledge, and be the gatekeeper, the guider of the knowledge. Only in this way, he can stand firmly and go on to survice, and then realize oneself's transformation in the knowledge economy era.
