摘要
本文详细的论述了阅读能力的培养在整个英语教学中的地位,指出广泛阅读是加大英语语言输入的有效渠道,是了解西方文化的窗口,是获得语感、培养自学能力的重要途径。英语综合能力的提高,要在主抓阅读的前提下,与听说、写作并进。同时,作者还从阅读实践的角度,分析了培养英语阅读能力的可行性方法。
In this article, the importance of the cultivation of reading skills in English learning and teaching is discussed in detail. It is pointed out that reading makes us expose to the vast English material, opens ways to western world, give us linguistic sense and self - studying ability. The enhancement of comprehensive ability in English needs the training of reading ability, writing ability as well as listening and speaking ability, the first of which is the basis. The author also analyses the practicality of the cultivation of reading ability from the view of reading practice.
