摘要
近年来 ,在许多真核生物中发现了一类内源性的、长度约 2 2个核苷酸的单链非编码RNA—微RNA ,研究发现它与基因表达、细胞周期及个体发育过程都有关系 ,因此 ,微RNA的研究可能对基因功能研究、人类疾病防治及生物进化探索具有重要意义。就近几年来对微RNA的研究作简要概述。
Two small temporal RNAs(stRNAs),lin-4 and let-7,control developmental timing in Caenorhabditis elegens.These two reguratory RNAs are members of a large class of 21- and 25-nudeotide single-strand noncoding RNAs,called microRNAs(miRNAs).The miRNAs have diverse expression patterns during development;a let-7 paralog is temporally coexpressed with let-7;miRNAs encoded in a single genomic cluster are coexpressed during embryogenesis;and other miRNAs are expressed constitutively throughout development.The researchers further found that it is relevant to gene expression、cell cycle and ontogeny course.So it is very important for gene function,human disease and biological evolution.The research of miRNA in recent years was reviewed.;
