Objective:To explore the clinical significance of sICAM 1 and PTM in T 2 DM patients by examining their serum levels. Methods:The study was undertaken to detect serum sICAM 1,PTM levels in 88 cases including 58 T2 DM patients and 30 healthy controls by using sanduich enzyme linked immuno sorbent assay. Results:The results of each T2DM patients group were following standard mg/L.In T2DM group they were 220±32 8 and 32 9±13 7 respectively, those of T2DM patients with complications were 227 9±25 6 and 36 9±8 6,those without complicaions were 204.7±18 1 and 28 0±9 1.Those of control group were 188 6±16 9 and 20 1±7 8.The characteristics of SICAM and PTM in T2DM patients were ①the SICAM 1 and PTM levels of T2DM patients were signicantly higher than those of healthy controls ( P <0 01);②the levels of T2DM patients with complications were significantly higher than those of T2DM patients without complications (P <0 01);③there were important difference between the levels of patients without complications and those of healthy controls ( P <0 01).Conclusion:There are uasculer endotholial cells hurot and then serum SICAM 1 and PTM abnormally express which are possitively relative to patients condition,so sICAM 1 and PTM may be the early menitoring mark when T2DM patients have complication.
