本文对期刊评价从理论和实践上进行了探讨。认为期刊评价的首要目的是界定优秀期刊,介绍了期刊评价的重要因素——影响因子,讨论了期刊评价的新领域——电子期刊和期刊评价的直接结果——期刊排名。
The article expounds journal evaluation in theory and practice and holds that the primary goal of journal evaluation is to define quality journals. It introduces impact factors, electronic journals and journal rankings in journal evaluation.
