摘要
七星瓢虫、龟纹瓢虫和异色瓢虫,一直被人们认为是肉食性昆虫。据近年来调查观察,发现这类昆虫一方面可大量捕食蚜虫、介壳虫,另一方面又可严重危害枣花,具有肉食和植食的双重性能。本文还记述了这些瓢虫对枣花的危害情况,并对枣园常见瓢虫进行了检索。
The ladybirds,Coccinella septempunctata (L.),Harmonia axyridis (Pallas) and Propylaea japonica (Thunberg),have been considered entomophagous.However,they were discovered phytophagous too in the au- thor's observation during the recent years.They did prey upon aphids and scale insects,but also fed on Chinese date flowers avariciously in date orch- ards.Thus,they had dual feeding habitats.The present paper gives an acc- ount of the damages of those beetles to the date flowers and with an identif- ication key to the common ladybirds occuring in Chinese date orchards.
