摘要
现代企业的数据量大约每6个月就会翻一倍,因此需要一种有效的方式去存储和保存这些数据。当前网络存储的主要方式有:直接连接存储(DAS)、网络连接存储(NAS)和存储区域网络(SAN)。文中介绍了这3种存储技术的特点,并比较了各自的优劣;详细介绍了SAN中基于10GbE(10gigabit Ethemet)的iSCSI(Internet small computer system interface)SAN的优点,指出了它是网络存储发展的趋势。
These years, the data in modern corporations are doubled in about six months. It requires effective ways to store and maintain these data. Todays technology offers three basic options: direct attached storage(DAS), network attached storage(NAS) and storage area networks(SAN). In this paper, we first introduce the features of the three techniques. Then we specify their advantages and disadvantages. At last, we emphasize the advantage of iSCSI SAN which is on the technique of 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and point out that it would be the future network storage technique.
