Synthesis of liquid crystal 1,2-diaryl-1,1-difluoroethane

摘要 The title compounds was synthesized by the fluorination reaction of Dialkylaminosulfur trifluoride(DAST) with 1(4alkylphenyl acetyl)4alkylphenyl.The reaction was carried out in ethyleneglycol dimethyl ether at 80℃ for 24h with conversion 95%and yield 42%～50%.The influence of quantity of DAST,temperature and solvent was investigated.
