Real Media和Windows Media是当前两大主要的流媒体技术,同时它们在现代远程教育中已经得到了很好的应用,并且都想以技术优势争夺远程教育市场。文章论述了这两大主流技术在2001-2002年的新一轮技术比拼,探讨了它们在流媒体市场的新举措,为远程教育技术的选择提供了一个参照。
Real Media and Windows Media are the two main flow media technology at present. They have been applied in the distant education, and both are aiming to win the distant education market by its technology advantages. The essay probes the new-round competition between these two technology from 2001 to 2002, therefore it provides a reference for choice of distant education technology.
