Abstract: An overall picture of the phase diagram of water/dodecane/alcohol/os(sodium olea-te)was studied in this paper. From the phase diagram of pseudo-tricomponent of microemulsions consisting of the above four components, the plots of na/nb versus no/n.(na, na, n, are the molar concentrations of alcohol, os and dodecane respectively)were given Through these
data we could calculate the standard free energy AGoe→i of transfer from the continuous oil phase to the inter facial region for the cosurfactant, such as n-butanol, n-pentanol, n-hexanol
and n-heptanol.It was furtfer shown AGoθ→ i. changed as a linear function of the number of carbon atoms in the cosurfactant. On the other hand,from the effect of temerature on the
standard free energy, the standard enthalpy AHoθ→i and the sdandard entropy ASoθ→i values were also reporled.
