摘要
本文根据珠江三角洲地区经济发展需要,对广州国际机场、华南沿海枢纽港、广珠澳铁路、大型燃煤火电厂、西水东调工程的建设与布局提出积极建议。
Five issues of the infrastructure construction in the Zhujiang Delta, including Guangzhou international airport, the key ports of South China, Guangzhou-Zhuhai-Macao railway, large thermal power plants, and the water diversion works from west to east, are discussed in this paper. The author considers that (1) Although there are airports in Shenzhen, Foshan and Huizhou, Guangzhou (Baiyun) airport, one of the three largest international airports in China, will be saturated before 2000, and it should be replaced by a new large international airport. (2) Guangzhou port as the centre, and Shenzhen port (including Yantian and other ports in west Shenzhen) and Gaolan port of Zhuhai as two wings, should cooperatively undertake the task of the key ports of South China. (3) Guangzhou-Zhuhai-Macao railway should be built, as it will promote the regional economic development. (4) As the existing large thermal power plants are concentrated unduly near Humen, the new ones should be distributed along the coast of the Zhujiang Delta, cooperating the port projects. (5) It may be necessary to construct water diversion works from west to east so as to thoroughly solve the problem of water supply for Guangzhou City proper and the coastal areas of the Zhujiang Mouth, including Shenzhen, Bao-an, Daya Bay and Hongkong.
