摘要
提出了一种新颖的以混合信号处理器为核心的数字式掺铒光纤放大器(EDFA)控制电路的设计方法。采用面向对象的方法分析EDFA的功能模型,并用软件封装EDFA人机界面,实现完全软操作的EDFA。与以往的5反馈环EDFA控制电路不同,提出了一个由6个反馈环组成EDFA控制电路的系统结构,用电反馈实现了EDFA的动态增益控制,解决多波长传输中的信道均衡问题。详细讨论了动态增益控制、光功率测量、温度控制和人机界面等各个模块的具体实现细节。
The erbium-doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) function model was defined by object-oriented analysis method. The embedded software encapsulates the EDFA user interface, so that all soft operations can be accomplished. Different from the traditional EDFA control circuit with 5 feedback loops, a system with 6 feedback loops was introduced. The additional feedback loop is used to achieve the dynamic gain control of EDFA. Some modules such as dynamic gain control model, optical power measurement model, temperature control model and user interface module were described.
